Diana Irey Vaughan is the President & CEO of City Mission. Diana became the President/CEO of City Mission on March 1, , after serving as Washington County Commissioner for nearly 30 years. As a Commissioner, Irey Vaughan was known for her leadership in economic development, human services, and humanitarian efforts. During her tenure, she supervised over Washington County employees within twenty-eight departments and a budget of $,, Diana also provided oversight to a -bed nursing facility and the Washington County Jail. Diana attended West Virginia Business College, Fairmont State, and California University. She has served on numerous Boards and received countless awards including the Washington County Athena Award, the American Legion Medal of Honor, and the Spirit of Southpointe Award. In the Athena Young Professional Leadership Award was renamed to the Diana Irey Vaughan Young Professional Award. Driven by her Christian faith, Diana has been a devoted supporter of City Mission for many years and personally raised over $, for the mission since through her long-distance charity runs. Upon accepting this new role, Irey Vaughan stated that she was “humbled and honored to be chosen for the role that will provide care for neighbors in need and transform lives.”
Mark Vinoverski is the Director of Hope Enterprise at City Mission. Mark is a graduate of Ohio University where he received his BS in Communications. After graduation Mark was blessed with the opportunity to play for the inaugural baseball team fielded by Athletes in Action which traveled to South America, Canada, and Alaska. In Mark began a career in the restaurant industry which spanned 32 years primarily with RAX Restaurants and Wendy’s Company. He worked in various roles including Regional Training Manager and Senior District Manager. In , Mark was called to serve the homeless as the Manager of Client Support Services and the Assistant Director of Operations at the Light of Life Rescue Mission in Pittsburgh. In , Mark felt the call to join the team at the Washington City Mission in his current role as the Director of Hope Enterprise. Mark is married to the love of his life, Karen, and they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Leah Dietrich is the Director of Residential Programs at City Mission. Leah earned her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Waynesburg University and is a licensed professional counselor. At Waynesburg University, Leah found a true passion for service leadership through years of holding various leadership positions on the Waynesburg University campus. Leah was hired at City Mission in as a counselor, and proved herself capable at every level, earning a promotion to the position of Director of Residential Programs. Leah has worked to revise and revamp the City Mission program, which has proven to increase the overall effectiveness of that program. When Leah received her promotion in , she became the youngest Director in City Mission history. In her first year in this role, Leah led a team to create programming for the City Mission’s two new facilities, the Women with Children’s Program and the Crabtree-Kovacicek Veterans House. In Leah took on additional responsibilities including supervision of the medical clinic, career training and education center, and the direct care team growing her clinical team to In her personal life, Leah is an active member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church and resides in Washington, PA with her husband and two sons.
